The source code should compile on most Unix machines.

Note that since the source code is primarily for use on Unix, the files in the archive have Unix end-of-lines.
NB: currently we build the Microsoft Windows version on Linux using a cross-compiler. You'll have to fiddle with the makefiles to build natively - contact us if this is a problem.
