Installing using Homebrew

The easiest way to install a recent release of Survex on macOS is by using the Homebrew package manager. If you don't already use Homebrew, you'll need to install it first. Then to install Survex:

brew tap survex/survex https://git.survex.com/homebrew-survex
brew install survex

Once you've installed as above, you can upgrade your homebrew packages (including Survex) like so:

brew update
brew upgrade

This packaging is fairly new - if you hit any teething problems, please report them to the bug tracker or mailing list.
